"What's the use of a fine house if you haven't got a tolerable planet to put it on?"
- Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862)
I am an architect & theatre consultant, originally from Bridport in Dorset, currently based in London. In 2011 I spend my days at Eric Parry Architects and my evenings rushing around London & southern Engand designing performance spaces.
This site contains a combination of private projects and those undertaken with others (Charcoalblue & NBBJ) or as part of my time at university (The Bartlett, UCL & Newcastle).
I am ARB registered and a member of the RIBA. I am also a member of the Long Now Foundation.
As a theatre consultant I have worked to varying extents with a number of architectural practices including 3XN (Irish National Concert Hall), Haworth Tompkins (National Theatre), Eric Parry Architects, Austin-Smith:Lord, Bennetts Associates (RSC Royal Shakespeare Theatre) & Keith Williams Architects (Marlowe Theatre).
The site was built with Indexhibit because starting from scratch is not worth it (a lesson hard learnt). If you are an Indexhibit user and want to build upon my theme, please feel free to do so, but in return please drop me an email to show the results of whatever you decide to do with it.
If you're wondering... the image on the homepage shows what happens when a tired architect tries to take a site model from one 3D program to another with the wrong settings. There's an order in the chaos but I'll be damned if I know what it is.
